One valve's journey
Every valve. Every check.
Follow a single valve from raw brass to dispatch. It doesn't move on until it passes.
{{ checksSvg }}
01
Raw brass
Every supplier batch verified on our in-house spectrometer to EN 12164/65.
02
Forging
Hot-forged bodies inspected for form and finish.
03
Machining
Threads checked on an in-house contour machine.
04
Outlet imaging
Critical outlet connections imaged and recorded.
05
Seals
Rubber tested for n-pentane, ozone and hardness to EN 549.
06
Assembly
Assembled on automated lines for consistent quality.
07
Pressure relief
Where fitted, set and discharge tested on automatic machines to the applicable specification, including EN 13953, with results recorded.
08
Leak test
Leak-tested on PLC-controlled benches, with results recorded.
09
Packaging
Packed and labelled for export, traceable to its production batch.

Sustainability
Brass that lasts. Energy that counts.
Quality and responsibility run through the same system. Our plant is certified for environmental and energy management, and every valve is made from brass that stays in the recycling loop.

01
ISO 14001:2015
Environmental management system covering the whole Sankrail plant.
02
ISO 50001:2018
Energy management — measured, reviewed and reduced year on year.
03
Recyclable brass
Turnings and offcuts are collected and remelted; brass valves are fully recyclable at end of life.
04
Built to last
Long-service valves mean fewer replacements and less waste across the cylinder fleet.
